That's God-designed biology that is meant to protect you in unsafe circumstances or seasons.

Peace that surpasses understanding is still available to you. But a body flooded with stress hormones has a harder time letting that peace land. Learning to work with your nervous system doesn't replace faith, it makes room for faith to take root physically.
